Debunking the "scientists" who are supporting the MISA/ATMAN cult

There is a great write-up by Roxana-Malina Chirilă debunking the self-proclaimed new religions & cults experts Massimo Introvigne  and Gabriel Andreescu to be found here in Romanian: https://roxanamchirila.com/2024/09/22/misa-erotism-sacru-apologeti/

The English translation is here:

MISA, "sacred eroticism" and apologists

There is a wave in sociology, anthropology and other similar fields where researchers try to understand the internal perspective of the groups they study. Books such as "Take Back What the Devil Stole: An African American Prophet's Encounters in the Spirit World" by Onaje X.O. Woodbine or "The Struggle to Stay: Why Single Evangelical Women Are Leaving the Church" by Katie Gaddini presents people with different beliefs, but they do it so that you can better understand who the people involved are and why they think. The book of Onaje Woodbine speaks of a “holy” woman from a community of poor black people in the United States who had a hard life and found God (who speaks to her) and is now recognized as a kind of community leader. Kate Gadini's book is about women from the evangelical Christian community in the US, who face the misogynistic problems within their Church.

Woodbine and Gadini are trying to strike a balance between the reflective incredulity of those who do not share the beliefs of those communities and total acceptance from members of communities. They don't want to let their own value judgments distort the image of those they describe, but they also don't shy away from saying when something could contradict the subjects. They want the reader to make an opinion as if they were there - they don't want to convince you that their subjects are right, they want you to see them and understand them, even if you don't agree.

You might think that Massimo Introvigne, an Italian sociologist, does the same kind of research when talking about new religions and discusses “sects” focused on the idea of sacred eroticism, which suffers from conflict with ordinary social norms. Gabriel Andreescu may also try to reach the same balanced position when he rests on Introvigne’s ideas to talk about the problems that MISA has with the law in the Journal of Human Rights. But no. Despite the specialized terms, their methodology leaves much to be desired. Where Woodbine and Gadini would explicitly say what MISA’s opinions are and would keep a distance from their subjects, Andreescu and Introvigne assume MISA’s opinions as if they were their own. Where Woodbine and Gadini would decisively go into details and ask questions about the difficult points of the beliefs of those involved, Andreescu and Introvigne accept the superficial level that is offered to them.

It is true that Introvigne wrote a whole book about the subject that I haven’t read to read in full yet. After the first 20 pages, I think to make a detailed analysis (may be more professional towards the end, although it does not seem to be), but in the most recent article in which he discusses some arrests related to MISA proves a gross lack of understanding of the subject he addresses.

Sacred eroticism

Massimo Introvigne has a theory that he also applies to MISA: many new religious groups are judged very strongly for attitudes related to sexuality, which are not in line with those of the majority. Specifically, Introvigne says that MISA is hunted by the authorities because she dared to talk about sacred eroticism.

I don't want to go into details now about the philosophy of sexuality at MISA. It's an interesting topic that would really deserve an academic description, but now I just want to have a starting point for the article. I will not summarize Introvigne's ideas, but I will speak from the information received directly from the yogic community, expressing the ideas I have heard from courses, conferences and direct discussions with the yogis.

In a short. The yogis at MISA believe that everything in the universe is energy - starting with matter and reaching subtle spiritual energies. The human being has a subtle body (yes, yogis, I know that there are actually more; I’m oversimplifying to finish the discussion today) in which there are seven centers of force, from the lowest that governs vitality, to the highest that connects with God. Those force centers can be activated weaker or more intensely and there are “blockages” of energy at various levels. Specifically, if you have activated the center of force of the will, you have an extraordinary will; if you have a blockage at the level of the center of love, you have problems with love. Is it clear up to here?

MISA yogis believe that people's biggest energy reservoir is that of sexual energy. But sexual energy is a “low” energy, and ordinary sexuality wastes that energy. It is important, then, that the yogi can conserve and transform his sexual energy into higher energies, such as that of will, of love, of intuition, of the supramental – and then to ascend into the center of force in which they have the connection with God.

The idea of MISA sex is not sex. It is spirituality. It is the transformation of sexual energy into spiritual energy, which turns sex into an instrument, not a purpose. If you hear them talking about “sexual continency,” that’s what sex is about— and the physical sign that sexual energy is transformed is that men don’t ejaculate anymore, and women don’t have a menstrual cycle, which yogis beat the water on every occasion.

Finally, yogis want to become one with God, which they follow both through meditations and asanas (those positions you know from movies) or through sexuality or other methods. Their hard work is not towards hedonism, but towards spirituality through multiple ways. And spirituality means getting over the “ego” and not hindering yourself in small obstacles, such as greed, jealousy and other flaws. The yogi must not be caught in the whirlwind of everyday problems, but be detached from them and only manifest qualities.

Noble, isn't it?

Sacred Erotism and the Accusations Against MISA: Two Distinct Things

But MISA had no legal problems because some people had opinions about the world and God when they had sex at their home, but because there were suspicions and accusations of abuse. The involvement in the sexual industry and the eternal queue of women at the bedroom of Gregorian Bivolaru had a say, and here things get complicated.

Andreescu says in the article “Repression of groups that promote “sacred eroticism” – the international pattern of an injustice (I)” (Human Rights Magazine, no. 2/2024, p. 41):

Personal or group attitude towards sexuality and eroticism is protected by privacy. It also covers what constitutes the social private life, in the sense of the right to step out of the personal universe “to go to other members of society.” The European Court of Human Rights has distinguished several situations in which the exposure of the nude is defended by the European Convention on Human Rights. The sexualization of pamphlet messages in the public debate also enjoys protection. At the same time, sexual assaults, from discrimination, abuse and harassment to rape and human trafficking, long too widespread, have coalesced against them, in recent decades, public opinion and institutions. Movements associated with sacred eroticism are not compatible even by their teaching with sexual assaults. Repressive actions against them were often based on such accusations, but they could not be legally supported.

Unfortunately, Andreescu does not express himself very clearly, but as far as I understand, what he means is that the existence of sexual assaults in general has led to the coalition of institutions against “movements associated with sacred eroticism”. I will be extremely generous in the interpretation and I will assume that his idea is that, because there are many negative deviations from the norm, many consider the deviation from the norm itself something negative. In other words, because some unusual things are bad, we consider that everything that is unusual is bad.

Obviously, if that's what he means, Andreescu is right to claim that logic is flawed. Just because most of the world doesn’t think of God when they have sex, it doesn’t automatically mean that thinking about God when you have sex is bad. And so on.

But let’s take a closer look at what Andreescu says at the end of the quote:

Repressive actions against them were often based on such accusations, but they could not be legally supported.

Hmmm. Here and in the rest of the article he speaks especially about the events of 2004, when there were raids in the ashrams of the yogis in Bucharest, many materials were confiscated, the media and other things that led to Bivolaru’s flight in the country were confiscated.

But what does it mean to "not be legally supported"? Especially in Romania?

First of all, in Romania we have a problem with the justice system. Too often there is a scandal like “judges have decided that a girl under 11 can consent to have sex with a 52-year-old man” (source) and I’m sure you know other mediated cases in which judges gave sentences that make up your mind. Would it surprise you to find out that the situation is different when abuse is more complicated?

Secondly, even with the situation of justice as it is, Gregorian Bivolaru was convicted of sexual acts with minors. Yogis say that Madalina Dumitru, the victim in this case, denied that she had been abused and denied that she was in a sexual relationship with Gregorian Bivolaru. I also say that she was abused by the police and put up to sign a false statement to convict Bivolaru.

Unfortunately, two ugly things can be true at the same time. Mădălina Dumitru really denies everything and withdrew her statement under stress in 2004; but Bivolaru was convicted on the basis of telephone interceptions that demonstrated that she had a relationship with her, not on the basis of her withdrawn statement. At the same time, Mădălina Dumitru was indeed abused in 2004 by the Romanian state. The mere fact that we know her name proves it - her identity and image should have been kept secret, not end up on all news channels. The fact that she was dragged to the police, assaulted and assaulted to make statements in the absence of her parents or a lawyer was miserable. In other words, Mădălina Dumitru was abused when she was a minor.

My personal opinion is that the authorities really cared more to find something against the yogis than to protect a victim who was 17 years old at the time (the relationship with Bivolaru was from 2002, according to the interceptions). I honestly believe that their attitude cut off many opportunities in her life and almost ensured that she would remain loyal to the Yogis, to be their service martyr.

In addition to Bivolaru’s sexual adventures in the world of minors, yogis have been accused in Romania of human trafficking and other rather serious things. It is true, many facts were prescribed, and some were acquitted of. However, although there were not too many convictions following the events of 2004, from there were public discussions on the internet in which many undersides of the Movement were revealed. Since 2005 yogis and ex-yogi have gathered in places such as the Softpedia forum, on the famous thread “Misa and Bivolaru – pros and cons”, then on the defunct forum, to discuss all sorts of underlines of the group, revealing things such as pornographic videos sold without the consent of the participants and more.

From Spirituality to Abuse

Andreescu’s article says so:

Movements associated with sacred eroticism are not compatible even by their teaching with sexual assaults.

Friends, tell me: are there people who say one and do another? Because I know yes, and the fact that the teaching of a group says one does not cause the impossibility of the members of the group to do the opposite.

But how can the idea of sacred eroticism be reconciled - and sexuality that must always be spiritual and uplifting - with sexual abuse at the level of Movement? Andreescu's suggestion is that it can't be. My suggestion is that it can be too easy.

We return to what I said above: at MISA, philosophy says that sexuality is not a goal, but a method. The final question is not whether you liked it or if you felt good, but whether you got closer to God, stepping on the spiritual path. And this closeness to God is difficult because the yogi is seen as a being who is still struggling with the ego and its own limitations. If he is unable to open up to divinity from issues such as the inability to love, embarrassment, pride, self-importance, then confronting one’s own limitations can lead to suffering. The yogi must learn the lesson, and then suffering is only a pain of growth.

Do you see where I'm going? Or not yet? Let's just insist.

In every man there is a spark of God, which is his true self. And in you there's one. You are a divine being, but God’s game is to pretend to be cut off from himself and the rest. We hide behind the ego, a mask that hides our own divine nature. What suffers is not part of you. You have to get over the suffering, to reconcile with everything around you. Sometimes it’s hard, sometimes you encounter obstacles that make you feel unpleasant or doubt, but you have to persevere, because in the end it’s God.

Is that clear? Or not yet? Let's be the concrete.

If you feel like something is wrong, the problem is with you. Your ego is to blame. The course wants to do you good. The other yogis want to do you good. The master not only wants to do you good, he also knows the best way to do it. If you have the opportunity to receive a special spiritual initiation and you refuse it, this is clearly proof that your ego is revolting at the idea of evolution. If it’s a sexual initiation, you should already know that sexual energy is the largest energy reservoir of the human being, and you should want to get it so much so that you can use that energy for spiritual purposes. What's stopping you? The modesty? Embarrassment?  The problem is with you. Do you want to throw up at the thought of doing certain things? It's because you have demonic influences, because you're hanging on to small things. Larvae. You are a larvae. It's not an insult. It's a finding. You're a caterpillar  that doesn't want to become a butterfly. You can't get past the bugs in your head to evolve.

Is that clear?

With this philosophical basis, almost everything can be seen as a spiritual test and an opportunity for growth. Reluctance becomes part of the story of the spiritual path and overcoming obstacles. Negative experiences are reinterpreted in a key where they become tests and trials on your way to a divine purpose. And then, tell me: is it possible for someone to take advantage of this point of view to convince you to do things you don’t want? Is it possible for someone to convince you that you need to overcome your reluctance and leave aside the doubts and objections so that you have a bad experience, but which one to insist that it was useful to you?

Because I say yes. And I say that the incompatibility between MISA teachings about sacred eroticism and sexual abuse does not mean that abuse cannot occur - but that the moment you suffer abuse, everyone around you will try to convince you that abuse did not exist.

(It also applies to other types of abuse or negative experiences. You can’t even be angry because someone has ruined an object that you’ve borrowed, because it’s actually a test that shows you from attaching yourself to objects.)

Sacred-spiritual abuse

In his article, although Andreescu argues (together with Introvigne) that sexual abuse should not be tolerated, and religious freedom is not a legitimate defence for rapists, the rest makes only MISA apology. I have already seen that he says that sexual abuse is incompatible with the teachings of the Movement. Who knows, maybe he only thinks of rape as such that it didn't happen - but then he's naive.

Sexual abuse is not only about aggressively violating someone, it can also mean persisting someone constantly until they submit. Even though Andreescu talks constantly about the descends in the Romanian state in 2004, he also refers to the French raids of 2023, which were made on the basis of complaints of people who were in the course. The names of the people were not made public; as far as I know, all the details of the investigations have not been disclosed. Andreescu argues against some things from the present on the basis of past abuses, made in another context, by other perpetrators.

In his rhetoric against the raids in France, he also wonders such a thing:

Is the suspicion of new religious movements by the state authorities legitimate?

Honestly? Yes. If I was in an organization tasked with national security, I would suspect anything that comes out of the ordinary, on the principle that it is my job. Then it must be taken into account that there are situations where the power discrepancy between individuals is suspicious. The spiritual teacher-disciple relationship includes a power imbalance that is exploitable, and it deserves to have ways to resolve potential exploits.

But suspicion is not the same as aggression. As I said, in 2004, the Romanian state gave the guard in the fence in the last step.

Then, Andreescu says, making a comparison between the attitude towards the BOR and the attitude towards MISA:

There were no raids in the monasteries where rumours come from, some checked over time, that young refugees there, completely vulnerable, are undergoing sexual abuse

The fact that the BOR enjoys a privileged status that makes the abuses blossoming in its bosom does not mean that at MISA it should be the same, so Andreescu chose an unfortunate comparison. Ideally, justice would treat any abuse equally, without letting compliance institutions out of the way as they abuse those who have the public's derision.

On the other hand, the comparison is interesting. Although he does not say it directly, when Andreescu accuses any raid against the yogis as abusive, the implication would be that he wants precisely this kind of privileged status for MISA. Let there be no raids, not even when there are rumours that things are not right.

It's at least strange to advocate someone's legal immunity for sexual abuse.

Introvigne and France

To return to the one who opened the subject of MISA and sacred eroticism: Massimo Introvigne. He wrote an article related to recent events in France.

Introvigne says that "brain washing" does not exist - which I agree with. Brainwashing is a theory that the human mind can be transformed without the person, diminishing his ability to think and inducing new ideas. Think of the films with agents who activate when they hear a song, or "1984" by George Orwell, where at the end, after being tortured in every way, the main character feels that he loves Big Brother. Real life isn't like that, okay?

What happens is more trivial: some people are open to an idea and receive a lot of information that confirms it. Among those information are new ideas, which are supported by other information. After all, people begin to accept them as part of their worldview. This is all. That's how you turn someone who's vaguely right-wing into anti-Semitic. This is how you turn someone who is interested in yoga into someone who constantly speaks of energies, sexuality, Masonic conspiracies, burns karma and the like. Maybe some yogis do not believe in Masonic conspiracy, maybe others do not believe in aliens, but adopt other elements from the common background. It's normal. This is how we function as people: we get information and form opinions about them, and then we change our behaviour.

(There are ways not to let yourself be robbed of the landscape and they are dealing with critical thinking.)

Introvigne then introduces the notion of “apostates,” a former member of a group who becomes a militant against the group she left from. He says explicitly that this is not a value judgment.

According to Introvigne:

  • the actions in France are based on the testimonies of six ex-members;
  • the six ex-members are "apostates";
  • among the “apostates” are some whose experiences date back more than a decade;
  • “apostates” have personal revenge as their motivation;
  • “apostates” have opened rival yoga schools in some cases;
  • “apostates” have already claimed damages through civil lawsuits;
  • these experiences are based on the idea that they are not consensual because of ‘brain washing’;
  • persons found in France at the raids were there in full knowledge of the cause and understanding that they would sleep with Bivolaru for the purpose of sexual initiation (if this was the purpose of their visit there);
  • in all groups, “apostates” are far fewer than those who have simply gone;
  • The discrepancy of the number between the “apostates” and the remaining ones demonstrates that the “apostates” are wrong.

Information about the persons who testified in France is not public, so Introvigne has no way of knowing the identity of those persons and even less their motivations. In addition, although he said that the label of “apostates” is not one of value, he just uses the word “apostates” by the presumption of personal revenge.

That's one of two:

  • Introvigne invents self-power. He believes that anyone who has something bad to say about MISA is a militant activist who crosses his entire identity on destroying MISA from a spirit of revenge and to remove an opponent from the yoga school market.
  • The Misans told Introvigne that they knew the people in question and portrayed them, and Introvigne believed them at their word.

In both situations, Introvigne is wrong.

If he's making it up, obviously, the main problem is that he's presenting his imagination as reality and misinforming based on things that only exist in his head. But besides, the logic that his thinking entails makes there no legitimate criticism of a new religious movement. Be careful: anyone who has complaints against a religious group is an “apostate”; the number of “apostates” is always very small compared to those of the members who insist that everything is okay; justice is democratically established, depending on the higher number of supporters; so those who complain are never right, being few.

If he has the information from the yogis, then he doesn't even invent - but he's unsuitable for a researcher. Yogis where do they have that information? Can I check? Is it perfectly certain that no yogi speaks on the basis of what he believes instead of speaking on the basis of what he knows? Because yogis also know that Cecilia Tiz would be a super agent of the secret service who takes 7000 euros a month from Adrian Nastase to activate anti-MISA. Or they carried through the courts a former yogi (M.C.), accusing him of owning the blog exmisa (note: the blog exmisa is not the same as the defunct forum exmisa, and M.C. does not own the blog).

Anyway. Let's not go long. (You don't know how much I've already cut.)

Conclusion

MISA practices are worth studying, at least to be discussed later in an informed manner. The belief system, the way sexuality is involved, the way yogis integrate the teachings of the movement into their lives, can all be interesting.

Despite the fact that the subject was discussed ad nauseam, it is also worth discussing the abuses against the yogis in 2004, with all their effects on the movement and their vision of the group under the siege of the evil forces.

But the way these topics are dealt with now by MISA apologists are treated is superficial and biased. We cannot discuss "sacred eroticism" without discussing at length the dark and potentially coercive side of that "sacredness." And the way they behave towards the “apostates” in France is in the classic style of blaming the victim, even before they know who the victim is.

When I started talking openly about MISA more than 10 years ago, there were very few people who spoke in the press about the subject with names and surnames - or even under the pseudonym. Meanwhile, former yogis have been talking, mainly women and many of them from abroad. One of my theories is that people from abroad know their rights better and have more confidence in the justice system than Romanians.

A second theory of mine is that Romanian society is much more prudish than the west. Jokes about sex and sexual suggestions abound, but we hardly discuss sexuality honestly, and anything that comes out of the patterns is suspicious and outrageous. Somewhere, the idea that “sacred eroticism” is seen with bad eyes and judged negatively is true; but the same can be said about BDSM or other less common things. If the deviation is seen as a bad thing in itself, then it is normal that if someone suffers in an atypical situation that she chose, it is her fault because she chose the atypical situation. In the west, however, acceptance and openness are greater, so one can discuss more nuanced. Yes, you chose something atypical, but the question is how others behaved. Was there a consent? Was there coercion?

MISA claims to want the whole world to have a more positive attitude towards sexuality, but I think it is precisely the Romanian prudishly and the treatment of sexual practices as a taboo that gives them power and they better hide their abuses. A greater openness to the subject means that it is easier to recognize when someone is pressuring you and that you know where to go and who to ask for help when you realize that someone is abusing you.

Servants don't lie, articles from MISA servants

 Latest articles from MISA servants

Translated from Romanian as it appeared on exMisa.

Willy  Fautré  continues the series of articles written as if to serve MISA when needed. For some time, he has been on duty in the position of "useful servant".

Willy  Fautré , the head of a "human rights defence" NGO, as if those who claim to be victims of MISA are not human!

The office worker repeats the same "testimonies of yoga practitioners" on the principle that a repeated lie eventually becomes the truth.

Fautré  considers the accounts of MISA followers to be the ultimate truth from the start, but does not know or care that they have a habit of lying or are bound by oaths of secrecy - that is, of concealment of the truth - intended to protect Bivolaru from the arm of the law.

Here is an example, present in the very statements of MISA contained in the embarrassing responses  to the recent German podcast "Toxic Tantra":

Although Bivolaru, on Marius Tucă's show, denied in front of the whole country that he had sex with the students for the purpose of initiating them in tantric practices 🔗 , those from MISA denied that they know about such "initiations", as stated  in the 2nd part of the series entitled " Toxic Journalism"  I quote:

The person named Eva had a shorter story about an experience in 2007 and how she later decided to quit the spiritual path. She is neither the first nor the last to quit. Spiritual tests are not inventions for journalists to scoff at. They are real and occur in the lives of all spiritual seekers. When you are given a lot, the tests are also more complex. Eva admits her experience in 2007 was voluntary, and when she asked to go home she was gracefully led to the train station.  🔗

"Eva" talks about the sexual initiation with Bivolaru that took place in Paris in 2007, about which those from MISA, without realizing that I am making a huge blunder, I admit that it was a real meeting, which was "a complex test, because she was offered a lot"!

Then in episode 3 of the same series, it states, and I quote:

Some alleged "victims" admit that nothing was imposed on them, that they were not forced in any way, that they always had the opportunity to choose (we know we are repeating ourselves saying that an infallible method of making the right decision is consecration, which everyone and everyone knew). 🔗

By this, they showed that they knew that what Bivolaru also admitted before the French court was happening, namely that "after they passed the "consecration" stage, the women "loved" him at his home" . 🔗

As for the oath of secrecy that those who participate in some MISA activities submit, those on the official website they give themselves up again, I quote:

"We are patiently waiting for the female journalists to explain to us who is afraid and why. In the meantime we are preparing to debate another topic which disturbed them, and still very much: the necessary secrecy in the case of initiations or spiritual teachings ." 🔗

And we, those of this blog, along with its readers, are patiently waiting to see how the MISA guys get on with it. And what surprising information he unwittingly reveals to us in future articles!

Evidently Fautré , MISA's servant, doesn't know all this, but he doesn't care either, he's just doing his job for which he's set:

"These searched dwellings, located in various pleasant and attractive places, suitable for vacations, were used for spiritual and meditation retreats  of yoga practitioners in connection with the MISA Yoga School in Romania." 🔗

What are some "yoga practitioners" from Romania looking for in spiritual retreat precisely in France, a country which according to MISA is very aggressive with "spiritual movements" 🔗 , a country where Bivolaru has been arrested and extradited in the past? 🔗

"Yoga practitioners" in Romania do not have "pleasant and attractive places, suitable for spiritual retreats" in their country , such as the one from Şirnea, about which Bivolaru himself stated that it is underused, and it is always available?

Bivolaru - conf. " Response to actions on the Frația 2020 online discussion group , part 2":

"We would like to inform you that at the ashram in Şirnea of this yoga school, where you can still come for free to retreat in nature, paradoxically, although there is gratuity in coming and staying there for certain periods of time, yet the number of those who are interested  in staying at least periodically in retirement is surprisingly small. It is worth asking yourself: why then are you urged to sell your houses and go to the country, when you have the opportunity to go to Sirnea, to the existing ashram there, where you can get full free at that place but nevertheless the number of those who are interested in such withdrawals it's not big at all."

To paraphrase, it's worth asking yourself:

why would some travel all the way to France when they have a free retreat in Romania waiting for them?

Fautré's continues:

The first objective of the operation was to arrest, interrogate, detain and charge those suspected of being involved in "human trafficking", "forced detention", money laundering and "abuse of vulnerability" in organized gangs.

The second objective was to save their "victims" and obtain their statements as evidence, but no women were interrogated during the November 28, 2023 SWAT operation, they never filed a complaint against anyone.

The first task of the police force was to identify and "release the victims".

Their second task was to collect their testimonies in order to arrest their exploiters.

The author's thesis is that the operation was carried out precisely to obtain or fabricate ANY evidence against MISA, him leaving the impression that he does not know or that he pretends not to know about the existence of previous complaints from some victims.

On the other hand, the great fighters for justice and supporters of MISA Introvigne and Palmer wrote articles in which they accused the French antisect organizations that they would have found former students and convinced them to testify against MISA (Introvigne 🔗 🔗 🔗 , Palmer 🔗 🔗 ), which would actually have led to the raids undertaken by the French authorities.

This is how the lies of MISA supporters come to light when they are confronted with their manipulative theses!

Fautré :

The following Human Rights Without Frontiers (HRWF) report is based on the testimonies of over 20 Romanian yoga practitioners who have travelled on their own initiative and at their own expense to various places used for yoga and meditation retreats in France, where they were suddenly targeted by simultaneous police raids.  🔗

Most of them did not speak the language of the country, but they had chosen to combine the pleasant with the useful in France: to practice yoga and meditation

in villas or apartments kindly and freely made available to them by their owners or tenants, who were mainly yoga practitioners of Romanian origin, and to enjoy picturesque natural environments.  🔗

So Bivolaru blames the students for not using the free location in Şirnea and urges them to benefit from this opportunity, but these - not all, only some who knew! - they go at their own expense to the other side of Europe, to France, to the villas of other Romanians, who were closely related to... Bivolaru! (details in this article 🔗 )

Complete logic, both at MISA and at  Fautré. But we are still the bad ones, as another servant of MISA, Introbine , says 🔗

Fautré :

The owners, co-owners or official tenants of the premises were not present at the time of the descent, with the exception of Sorin Turc, a violinist who played with the Monaco orchestra.  🔗

Sublime! The owners, co-owners or even the official tenants of the premises(!!), with one exception, leave their homes, from the pleasant and attractive locations suitable for vacation, to make room - for free - for some people from Romania!

And where did they go to live during this time? Where did they do their spiritual practice? In rented accommodation?

Fautré continues to reveal "edifying" information, such as this:

Fautré :

1,200 euros were confiscated from one person. A couple from Romania were left penniless after the police took all their holiday money – 4,500 EUR. People interviewed by HRWF whose goods were taken did not receive any receipts.

A good French-speaking Romanian woman told HRWF that she heard the agents say, after taking about EUR 10,000 in cash from several people, that they have "enough". A connection could be made with statements made in the press

by some investigating authorities who claimed to have "discovered" large sums of money in several homes searched.

No doubt this was to give the impression that the allegation of money laundering was credible in this business of national proportions. 🔗

You got it: the 300,000 euros were not found at Bivolaru, but were collected from here and there by the police from "practitioners"!

"One could make a connection with the statements made in the press", but only by those who put their noses to the MISA spell!

Either Fautré is naive to the point of laziness, or he's also one of those that are part of the play!

Look, not everyone "makes the connection", but something on their connection, especially because very very conveniently, right at the right moment, materializes from the beatific void " a good Romanian woman who knows the French language " who has heard "what is necessary", although the "wise man" by Fautré he had just declared earlier - also conveniently and ostentatiously - that " most of them did not speak the language of the country ", to emphasize that the "yoga practitioners" had only recently arrived from Romania and had not been there for a long time (because if they had been exploited for a long time in France, they would have known French).

It has become customary that whenever it is "necessary" to have statements supporting certain MISA-convenient theses, exactly at those moments, as if by chance, students appeared - "by divine synchronicity" - to affirm exactly those theses!

It was seen after the "exemplifications and revelations in the planetary premiere", it was also seen in court cases in Sweden and from Romania, the manifestation of such synchronicities is also expected in the processes in France and Finland.

This can also be seen in the accounts of the "healing event" at the end of the summer camp where, in the first years after the start of the action great miracles of healing by automatic fire were "recorded", but since September 2017 no one has been healed! 🔗

But don't waste time, see what stories will miraculously appear after this post!

Next is the dust in the eyes with the abuses of the French authorities, so that the attention of the readers is diverted from the question marks previously expressed. But even at this point there are question marks:

Fautré :

The issue of interpreters is another weak point of the procedure. Many interviewees emphasized incompetence and inability them to accurately translate their answers to the questions. This phase of the procedure is of crucial importance.

If the minutes and their translation contain errors that cannot be rectified, this can have dramatic implications in trials and can lead to serious injustices. In some cases, a few people who knew French well enough were corrected last minute, but what about everyone else?

Question: Those  people who knew French well enough  to realize their incompetence and inability to accurately translate  their answers to the questions,  why didn't they answer directly in French, accurately ?

They answered in Romanian, like criminals who, being caught in a foreign country, claim not to know the language of that country and that they know nothing, in order to avoid giving written statements, so that they can later take advantage of possible inaccuracies in the translation either to cancel the documents or to modify their statements, under the pretext that it was not well understood what they actually wanted to say!

We quote from the MISA "instruction" (see page 3 of the original in English  🔗 , translation 🔗 ):

Only if you are asked in more detail what you are doing here or if a more special situation arises, a control while you are in the car, etc. then you will say the following:

- I came here by bus or plane (each according to its case), I bought the TICKET MYSELF

- I came here to attend a Shakti seminar that will be held in this city on... watch the date written on the flyer and you will say the DATE ON WHICH THE SEMINAR WILL BE DONE and not the date that has already passed or the date you are on then.

If by chance it is the same day that is written on the flyer, then you can say that you do not know more details about the seminar, but you will participate.

- I arrived here 2, 3, 4 or 5 days ago. If you are several girls - the answer will be different for each one -  and "I also want to visit the city".

- I signed up for this seminar by phone or via the internet on the yoga website in France, the data entered on the leaflet

- I live with some friends, for free; there are instructors here - Sorin Turc and Voichița Suciu - I spoke with them before leaving and they agreed  to help me by offering me shelter during my stay here.

- I PAY FOR MYSELF FOOD and we buy food together.

- all the CDs and DVDs you have are yours and you brought them with you from home.

- don't give any other details, just the information read above, that's all you know

- if the police ask you to give a statement, of any kind or (written or verbal) you will say that you do not know anything  and you will give any statement only in the presence of a lawyer!

Fautré :

Returning home, these people who were arrested in France,  were no longer contacted by the French authorities.

They believe that French justice will never spontaneously return the money  and electronic equipment that was stolen from them.

They should have the right to sue as victims of French justice  to recover their assets, but prefers to forget this traumatic experience and turn the page.

How narrow-minded do you have to be to think that the authorities are acting "spontaneously"?

If the money was confiscated without documents - as stated by those trampled by the police - then the only chance is a complaint to recover it.

The police will not "spontaneously" admit that they "spontaneously" confiscated money without a report - that is, they stole!

On the other hand, if no complaint is made for the confiscation of the money, and the police have not drawn up a report, this money they cannot appear at the trial without papers, which is obviously to the advantage of those under investigation and very likely this is the real reason of giving up on recovering the money: not to forget this traumatic experience,  but actually  to make the authorities forget about the money! This attitude of giving up on recovering the money can be explained if the money has an illicit origin!

Then what electronic equipment was stolen from them? It's about mobile phones or electronic equipment confiscated from the ones who declared that they lived at the site of the raid? 🔗

I quote: RAM memory, hard drives, calculator, oscilloscope, function generator, lab supply, letcons, soldering station, rabbit 🔗 , then boards with math and physics formulas 🔗  and what about the "yoga practitioner" on spiritual retreat in France...

I remind you that precisely because the individual's statement contradicted the official version of MISA according to which they were all "guests in spiritual retreat" (the version found in the MISA "instruction" previously presented), that footage was hushed up by MISA and another footage was taken and the original video clip was made "private", but even as "private" as it is, nothing changes, because it continues to contradict the "official" version! (see transcript 🔗 )

Let's not overlook the fact that in the statements of the "victims" of the raids, they state about the jewellery boxes that they had with them and which were allegedly confiscated by the police. Where else have you heard of "yoga practitioners" going across seas and countries taking jewellery boxes with them what is at risk of being stolen or found at customs controls?

Where else have you heard of "yoga practitioners" going on "spiritual retreats", i.e. withdrawing from the world, detaching themselves from worldly possessions to focus only on spiritual aspects, but they take with them in "retreat" boxes of jewels, to which it can be seen that they are very attached?

Conclusion: Fautré  is either a fool, or he plays the fool in order to fool others!

Another article from a MISA servant

Another article appeared only two days after the appearance of Fautré
's article  🔗 . At a time when MISA  is busy with grandiose activities since the end of  the summer camp, and  nothing moves on the organization's pages other than last-minute organizational announcements. This is a new article on the official page of MISA, this time by Gabriel Andreescu, which is titled:

"Repression of groups that promote "sacred eroticism" - the international pattern of an injustice".

(MISA website 🔗  , source - "Human Rights" Magazine, study  🔗 )

This study is an echo of debates that took place during the CESNUR Conference  (Center for Studies on New Religions) from June 2024, dedicated to "repressive actions against some groups that follow practices of the nature of "sacred eroticism", which supports the thesis that there is an organized worldwide action to suppress this "spiritual current".

Could this recent rush to defend MISA be a coincidence? It is a link to when the process starts from France and "it is necessary" to have some "neutral, objective arguments" from some "international bodies" in defence what are unrelated to the parties” (but who actually act as if they are MISA lawyers)?

First of all, it should be noted that the author himself puts the phrase  "sacred eroticism" in quotation marks!

The concept of "sacred eroticism" is an abuse, because it involves the joining of two aspects that do not intersect, but at most touch!

Sacred  or holy  means complete, perfect, absolute , while eroticism implies TWO   complementary beings or aspects still separate, different, seeking the restoration of the WHOLE, of the ONE,  so they have NOT YET REACHED UNITY and PERFECTION!

Therefore, the correct term would be "EROTISM that Aspires to the SACRED"!

In Revelation 15:4 it is clearly said:  "Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your name? That You alone are Holy ".

Bivolaru holds his own with Pure Divine Eros, but what erotic experiences does God, who is the Supreme Androgynous, have?

In God, the complementary male and female principles are perfectly unified, which is why HE is beyond male and female, as it completely transcends Manifestation itself! More naturally it would be something like: In the human being who has not attained the supreme spiritual realization, the masculine and feminine principles are not yet perfectly energized and unified.

Within a polar couple, each of the two lovers awakens in the other his complementary principle, and this polarization is perceived as a state of fulfilment, which is actually erotic love and which leads to the rediscovery of the androgynous state - the "mystical wedding".

Bivolaru clearly uses the expression PURE Eros, meaning a PURE spiritual aspect, which should NOT IMPLY SEXUAL CONTACT!

Proof: he himself held a conference on "Pure Eros in the teachings of Jesus" ("esoteric Christianity") 🔗 , in which he declared about couples in the early decades of Christianity, I quote:

It is worth remembering that Saint John Chrysostom says:

Our ancestors knew only two forms of love engagement which were the mystical erotic wedding and adultery or fornication.

Now, however, a third form has appeared, which is amazing: it is men who bring some young beautiful girls into their home which he keeps there permanently, respecting their virginity .

Despite what he himself claims, Bivolaru also mixes sexual contact into the matter (that was the burning interest, wasn't it?)

But sexual contact can only take place in the case of an erection , which represents the manifestation of some physiological instincts in the body, subconscious, which are the exact opposite of very high, purely spiritual states of consciousness. In other words, if you are immersed in God, no erection can occur, and if there is erection, it means that the mind is not in God! As Jesus said, you cannot serve two masters!

In yoga it is said that in Nirvikalpa Samadhi state of supreme consciousness, even breathing and heartbeat stop, and the body becomes cold, except for the growth of the head. It is also stated that if such a state is maintained for more than 3 days without interruption, the physical structure can no longer survive and death ensues! And Bivolaru speaks of "pure divine eros"!

Even if we still admit that a person who has attained the state of ultimate spiritual liberation, after returning from the supreme state it then remains permanently centred in God at the level of higher consciousness under all conditions and therefore, retaining its capacity to procreate, he could have an erection without losing communion with God, this remains true only for the one who has ALREADY achieved this level, but not for the average practitioner! "Pure Eros" is accessible from "top to bottom", but not from "bottom to top"!

Eros may be a means of advancement towards spiritual perfection, but it should not be confused with perfection itself , especially since eroticism - be it pure - cannot be the ultimate path, nor even the most convenient path of spiritual evolution, because to follow this path TWO ARE NEEDED, which means that man as an individual being does not have everything he needs for this path, that is, he is not a complete being, but also depends on someone else!

In fact perfection itself presupposes that the human being must be able to achieve this state ALONE.

But Bivolaru opened the tap with sex from the first months of the yoga classes , when everyone was hooking up with whoever they could find, he was doing what he had heard from other "initiates" because books had not yet appeared at that time. Then after thirty years (April 2023), the "revelations" appear:

" A comparative analysis between raw sexuality and pure eroticism " ( part 1 , part 2part 3part 4 ).

I quote: "This comparative analysis is a first in the sense that it is the first time that such a comparative analysis is carried out."

And then what have MISA students been practicing all this time, if they learned so late that sacred eroticism means the amalgamation of the energies of divine attributes such as Pure Eros, Love and Holiness ?

Did they do spontaneous sacred eros without knowing it? Then what are the "revelations in the planetary premiere" and what was the point of them, if they all did sacred eros by itself?

In fact, the interest was from the beginning the initiation of sexual practice at MISA, and what followed were only ideological justifications!

Therefore, the fact that members of a group claim to promote and practice sacred eros does not automatically mean that they are saints!

From the state of romantic trance, the activists believe that if MISA talks about "sacred eros", it means that eros automatically from MISA is sacred, ignoring the fact that on MISA it costs nothing to give lip service, that there is a big difference between word and deed, between a spiritual aspirant and a spiritual achiever, which is equal to the difference from earth to Heaven.

If one ignores the meaning of perfection and perfection of holiness and persists in this abuse, in which "sacred" means  everything that refers to with religious beliefs, it will end up being said that even a diabolical idol of I don't know which satanist group  is "sacred".

Introvigne also makes this point, in a monograph recommended by MISA, I quote:

misa.yoga :

His exceptional monograph  – Sacred eroticism. Tantra and Eros within the Movement of Spiritual Integration into the Absolute (MISA) –  published in 2022 in English, currently being translated into Romanian,  is the result of several years of research.  🔗

A fragment of the "exceptional monograph", together with a review, can be read at the following addresses - English source  🔗 , translation  🔗 , noting only that the sexual techniques of Alistair Crowley - considered a Satanist by Bivolaru and MISA -   are included by  Introvigne  as "sacred eroticism"! Exactly what I was saying, that terms are abused, which can then be used to justify anything!  Here is actually the big problem at MISA: everything that moves in motion - the river, the branch - it is decreed as being  sacred, holy, divine,  so that in the name of this "sacredness" any misery is then committed.

misa.yoga :

Italian professor and researcher Massimo Introvigne, an authority on the sociology of religions, is the first international scientist who studied in an objective and rigorous way not only the history of MISA, with the abuses, discriminations and persecutions it was subjected to and is still subject, but also some characteristic spiritual aspects, even defining, of this esoteric school, among which the fundamental revelations concerning pure Eros or the mystery of the Divine Attributes.  🔗

It can be seen that MISA has long since forgotten Andreescu's book  "MISA - Radiography of a repression", which now seems meaningless to  Introvigne 's articles  on this subject.

Returning to Gabriel Andreescu's study, he talks about a pattern (militarized raids), a pattern after which the authorities  would act  at the international level.  This is nonsense:

If it's about such different countries (Europe, Latin America), how can it be the same pattern  everywhere ?

The very authors who approach the theme of the "pattern" are haphazardly arguing  and contradicting themselves in their claims: Because the repressions in Italy and Argentina are orchestrated by the Catholic Church, and because in Romania and the Czech Republic  (former communist countries) it's former secret service! In rather secular France, there are anti-sect organizations.  But in Protestant Switzerland who are they: the Swiss cheese makers?

Where is the pattern in all these different countries and continents? In that militarized forces intervene?

The method of intervention is the same everywhere, according to the manual, it has nothing to do with "spiritual" groups!

The raids are the same everywhere: they break down doors and run around, knocking down everyone they find and yelling at them, interrogators, etc.

This is their mode of intervention: abusive beyond the law, brutal to everyone, imbecile, but that's all his mind takes!

Why should  it be different with "spiritual" groups? How should he proceed in their case, to go with the carol?

In fact, the real pattern is in the way these groups that practice "sacred eros" manifest themselves.

We have seen that the phrase is self-contradictory and can mean anything.

The authorities everywhere have at least enough sense to realize that "eros" cannot live in the same house as holiness.

If you feel down, then it means you are not up! So "sacred eros" is a false claim, therefore backwards something else is hiding, simple!

These groups are not honest when they present themselves to the public : they are yoga classes in the front and  "spiritual schools" in the back , no personal development courses, anything but "sacred eros"!

To top it off, there are a bunch of "eros" courses on the face: there are Tantra courses held by all kinds of trainers, coaches!

But the army does not come to them! Why? First of all, they are alone, they are a  "PHYSICAL PERSON", they are not part of groups or structures.

Second, they do exactly what it says on the poster: sex counseling! They don't claim to take you to God!

And there is no radiation, no repression, no pattern!

If any abuse happens, a policeman comes, a summons comes, but not the army. The army goes to those who are many, to "groupings, movements" etc.

It's natural. When there are large groups, camped in all kinds of closed buildings, with high fences, bars, where you don't know what's going on (that too because of the oaths  of secrecy!), how do you do research: call and wait for the fool to answer?

When at MISA they take  oaths  to keep the actions they participate in secret - a typical mafia clan modus operandi (in which the law of silence operates) or even the secret societies that MISA itself blames - how to get the authorities in: With an appointment, with a course ID, to send the questions before as at MISA?  What is with this aberrant secretomania, what is it hiding?

Don't these morons at MISA and everywhere else realize that they are the ones who determine such militarized modes of intervention?

Gabriel Andreescu insinuates in his "study" that the recent actions against MISA were not the consequence  of the complaints by the women who were allegedly abused by Bivolaru, but  the result of an "international campaign to suppress  the groups that (cic) promotes "sacred eroticism"!

Nonsense! The actions of the French authorities were triggered only after the complaints of sexual abuse were filed, after years there was talk on forums and in the press about the famous "tantric initiations" that Bivolaru gives in Paris and no action was taken!

Actions against MISA/ATMAN took place ON TIME, where there were complaints: Romania, Uruguay, Italy, Finland, France. In the UK, in Sweden, why hasn't anyone stepped on it?

The author writes:

Wikipedia makes CESNUR a problematized presentation. Takes the characterization "CESNUR is the highest lobbying and information group for controversial religions". Note the opinion: the organization "is too friendly", did not make "enough critical comments on the contributions of new religious movements and sects. These details define the nature of knowledge that CESNUR promotes and led to the reproach of militancy in defence of the sects.".

This is exactly the reality, in fact the criticisms are too mild! Those from CESNUR act as defence lawyers of dubious groups, they simply take the statements of those they defend without analysing them and without realizing that they are being manipulated by these organizations.

These servants do not even seem to have realized the question marks and contradictions present in the "points of view" they received from MISA and which I also showed in these two articles. Not to mention the fact that they clearly don't know what's really going on behind the MISA facade? As explained for example in the declaration of recognition of the Bivolaru guru given before the French court, how "the women loved him at his home after completing the stage of consecration"?

As we have seen, They do not even master my own concepts, such as "sacred eros", which is contradictory in itself!

In fact, there is an obvious pattern even in the attitude of the members of these NGOs, who take like parrots everything that comes from these obscure groupings, as if receiving the absolute truth. If MISA claims to practice sacred eros, then it is sacred!

MISA - which says that all those who doubt her and her leader's teachings, statements and actions are demonic!

Speaking of "holding the supreme truth", here is what Andreescu writes, quoting other luminaries of the protection of "new religions":

Concerns for society are also those communities invoked by the Swedish expert Karl  Eric Nylund "manipulative sects".

A religious group falls into this category if  it meets three of the following four criteria:

(a) to practice aggression by punishing  members who criticize the leader or the movement;

(b) practice aversion, which  means criticizing and persecuting those outside the group;

(c) to produce alienation by  locking members into the sect, which becomes the new family;

(d) by assuming an absolute truth  , this existing only within the sect, the leader having the absolute right to  interpret the truth.

None of the sacred eroticism groups that were the subject of police raids in Argentina, Italy, Romania, the Czech Republic and France do not fall into the category of manipulative sects.

What are you talking about, sir? Read it here, straight from your protégés: " The 17 Unsuspected Dangers of Demonic Doubts "

But did you see this one: " The Way of the Wanderers "? That's why there's no point in asking: " MISA is a sect according to its own criteria ".

G. Andreescu :

"The movements associated with sacred eroticism are not compatible by their very teaching with sexual aggression."

That's good! It's like saying,  "If they say something, that's what they say!"

Did Mr. Andreescu hear about the teachings of the communists, who said that  they "build the best and fairest of arrangements"?

Even political imprisonment, torture, assassination were not compatible with communist propaganda, but what was  the reality ?

Let Mr. Andreescu, the anti-communist dissident, tell us.

G. Andreescu :

I quote Massimo Introvigne: "I fully believe that sexual abuse should not be tolerated, under any pretext. Religious freedom is not a legitimate defence for rapists, and the perpetrators should be prosecuted and punished.”

Mr. author should know that Bivolaru and henchmen are not detained and investigated for promoting sacred eros  and because displays  posters with green nudes on the walls, but precisely for the suspicion of sexual abuse, rape, human trafficking!

He doesn't know or doesn't want to know...

G. Andreescu :

"France. Willy Fautré also documented the police raid in France against MISA members.”

He didn't document anything, he just parroted the statements of those in MISA, which are full of contradictions, as shown in the previous article, and ignores - wilfully or not - that the raids took place as a result of already existing complaints and not to obtain complaints.

The NGO gentlemen put on their horse glasses with the "violation of human rights in the repression of new religious movements" and act as if they were the advocates of these movements, but they ignore the fact that these groups often say one thing and do another, in turn violating first the freedom of thought and then all the liberties of followers.

I repeat the question: don't those who claim to have been victims of these religious movements also have rights?

Where is their version of the armchair "research and studies"?

On the contrary,  those who claim that they were the victims  of religious movements,  are considered from the start as being at the origin of the repression!

I quote from the archangel of objectivity, truth and defence of human rights:

Are apostates trustworthy? Ex-members who become apostates often 'learn' their role in anti-cult movements."  🔗

Ex-members are not trustworthy, good thing cults are! This is the "objectivity of human rights defenders", among which, in place of dishonesty, is also Gabriel Andreescu. They make a big fuss about the freedom of thought and expression of the members to the "new religions",  disregarding exactly the same rights of the critics of these groups.

And while MISA rights activists can no longer take care of it, MISA is preparing the new planetary religion - "theism" -  which "will replace all other religions", and whoever does not embrace with absolute confidence the teachings of MISA, is being manipulated by demons!

The conclusion: the same from the end of the previous post, applied in the case of G. Andreescu.

P.S.  Probably, this blog is also considered by MISA friends to be unreliable, because it is the platform for the expression of former students of MISA. The problem for friends of MISA, as well as for MISA itself, is that the opinions expressed on the blog result mostly from the confrontation of MISA's contradictory statements and actions!
